The SKYTECH Refueller has been specifically developed for use by the Indian Air force for refuelling aircraft. The design is based on the specification designed by the D.G.A.Q.A. Many safety features have been incorporated in the design to safeguard against accidents in aircraft parking bay during the refuelling operation.
The Refueller is basically a mobile fuel pump used by the aircrafts for their fuelling. It consists of fuel tank, filtering system, fuelling system, sensing system, all incorporated and mounted on the chassis itself. The refuelling can be easily controlled from the driver’s cabin itself. The Refueller incorporates majorly a pump and a filter water separator. This filter not only removes sediments but also water which is mixed in it, as the pressure of water in fuel is dangerous when aircraft fly in high altitude. |

Mobile Aviation Refuelling Unit (Sudan Helicopter Refuelling Unit) |
|
|
Mobile Aviation Refuelling Unit (Sudan Pump) is primarily designed for fuelling helicopters & light aircrafts used by the Defence Services & complies with the specifications laid down by them in this regard. The unit is made for operation under tropical conditions. It is capable of refuelling all standard grades of Aviation fuels.
The Refuelling unit is mounted on a tubular chassis specially fabricated. In designing the layout special attention has been paid to the location of various items of operation, safety & compliance with the regulations laid down by the various authorities. The unit contains specialized equipment arranged in a compact form to meet special needs.
The Sudan Pump unit is used for over-wing Refuelling. The liquid flowing through the unit follows the route Suction Hose – Pump - Micron Filter – Meter - Ball Valve - Delivery Hose - Nozzle. Approximate dimension of the Sudan unit is 1.6 M length, 0.850 M Width and 1.20 M Height.

The hydrant dispenser (or cart) is traditionally a self propelled vehicle which is driven on to the aircraft parking apron (or ramp) area and connected by hoses to the fuel hydrant at a hydrant pit valve in the ground and to the aircraft fuel intake coupling. The dispenser contains pressure control, filtration and metering equipment as well as an elevating platform to allow the operator to reach the under wing couplings (for large aircraft). |

Crash/Domestic Fire Tender |
|
|
A Crash fire Tender (known in some countries as an Airport Fire Appliance) is a specialised fire engine designed for use at aerodromes and airports in aircraft accidents.
Crash Fire Tenders are extremely powerful machines.
They offer relatively good acceleration (for such large, heavy vehicles), are able to negotiate rough terrain outside the runway and airport area, carry large capacities of water, and fire fighting foam, are fitted with powerful high-capacity pumps, and water/foam cannons and capable of delivering firefighting media over long distances.
Crash Fire Tenders are used for extinguishing fire in the event of air crash. In order to avoid wasting precious seconds the run to the crash situation across the airport must not only be as fast, but also as short as possible whereby small obstacles, fences and hedges are driven over. The vehicles should also be able to cross-difficult grounds at a very high speed. |

Mechanical Runway/Road Sweeper |
|
|
The “SKYTECH” Mechanical Runway Sweeper is functionally a large self-propelled vacuum cleaner, fitted with all the necessary controls, instruction, accessories and adjustment for enabling it to function efficiently. It works on the “Suction Principle” i.e. the objects to be picked up are placed in a stream of high velocity air, enabling them to develop an ‘aerodynamic drag force’ in the direction of the air flow. The velocity of air has been so arranged that the drag force overcome the weight of the objects and consequently propels them through the ducts into the large dirt-container in which the desired level of low pressure is maintained with the aid of a large capacity exhauster fan driven by an auxiliary engine. The pressure side of the exhauster provides the “agitational air” required for blowing on the loose objects lying on the ground. A hydraulically driven roller brush takes care of adherent at objects, which are not dislodged by the blowing air. ‘Heavy Objects’ are gathered together by canted diverter ledges which direct them to the heavy object pick-up nozzles. Since blowing and suction acts over the entire sweeping width, the objects are given a double treatment, resulting in even crevices being cleaned effectively. |

Floating Suctions are able to siphon a product from just under the product surface, regardless of the surface level. This innovative design avoids sucking up particles or sediment deposited at the bottom of the reservoir. Our Floating suctions are designed to meet all requirements of reservoir size, submerged environment sealability and compatibility with stored liquid.
The Floating Suction is equipped with swivel joints and a float. It adjusts itself automatically to the level of the product, thus guaranteeing uncontaminated transfer. A low stop prevents the floater from dropping to the deposit area.
When a floating suction is used in underground tanks, the piping can be equipped with a non-return valve, in order to preventing back flow into the tank.
The control cable enables:
- Gauging of the liquid level inside the tank
- Checking the smooth operation of the floating suction
- Lifting and removing the floating suction for maintenance

“SKYTECH ENGINEERS” TRAILER is designed for using in transportation of heavy packing cases, aircraft fuselage wings and other aircraft components in unpacked as well as packed conditions. In fully laden tractor the trailer when coupled and towed by an appropriate fully laden tractor/truck is capable of long distance transportation over highway, State District Roads improved/improvised tracks on cross-country/hilly terrain of gradient not exceeding 1 in 6. The maximum speed of transportation in the fully laden condition is 40 kmph over metalled roads and 15 kmph over cross-country tracks.
|
The Trailer is mounted on twin axle assembly. The Trailer is towed with the help of Prime Mover. The Trailer is provided with Main frame, Towing Bar and Turn Table.
- Main Frame is the platform made for loading purpose upto 09 Ton capacity.
- Draw Bar is only to tow the Trailer by hooking with the Prime Mover.
- Turn Table is responsible for articulating the Trailer.
The Main Frame is mounted on Twin Axle Assembly. Rear portion of the main frame is mounted directly over the rear axle. Front portion of the main frame if fastened with the Turn Table which inturn is mounted on the front axle. |
